In Year 8 pupils will study the new KS3 Collins science framework.  With this new framework, there is much emphasis on 'How Science Works' and how science impacts on society and people.  Science teaching and learning is therefore concentrating on practical skills, communication skills and scientists working in collaboration.

In Year 7 pupils will study the new Science framework. This includes How Science Works which explores how Science impacts on everyday life and society. It looks at the role of Scientists, how they work and communicate ideas to each other and the wider community.
